"Unsolved Mysteries" shows the viewers many scary, distubing, and sad unsolved mysteries hence the name it allows the viewer to call in if you have any information regarding the investigation(s). This series originally aired from 1987 to 2002, beginning on NBC TV from 1987 to 1997, then on CBS from 1997 to 1999 and finally on Lifetime TV from 2001 to 2002. The series was hosted by actor Robert Stack who's most memorable role was as "Eliott Ness" in the long running crime series "The Untouchables" from 1959 to 1963 on ABC.
On 13 October 2008 SPIKE TV will revive this old series with all new "Unsolved Mysteries" and the new host will be actor Dennis Farina who played "Albert Lombard" on the series "Miami Vice" from 1984 to 1989 and most recently played "Detective Joe Fontana" on the long running series "Law & Order" from 2004 to 2006.
